The QBox 24 with the Speed Pro Bracket is the best way to go!. It is much better than the standard bracket that comes with the QBox24. The adjustments are much better and more secure.

Here are some photos I took with my Qbox24. I'm very happy with the quality of the QBox 24.

Thank you Edward for making a high quality affordable light modifier.

Regards,

I have 2x C8's and I love them indoors. I wonder if you would consider making a heavier duty cheetah stand - like the C12 but with a higher centre-pole so it doesnt nearly touch the ground. Then you could use the stand outside over un-even ground etc.

To make the legs sprawl out you would push the centrepost down over the tip of your elevated foot - similar to close it until it engaged the raising mechanism. I wouldnt have a problem doing this - I do it sometimes with the C8's.

Anyway just an idea - Ive thought about hacking a C8 to see if I could do it, in theory it should work.

I absolutely love this stand. Have two of them and use them ALL the time. I added felt pad to the bottom of the stand to reduce clanking noise when it touches hard floor surface. You can get these pads at your local home depot or hardware store.

I just wanted to post on here how thrilled I am with my two Octaboxes that I bought from Cheetah Stand. They are made very very well, are really light weight and provide some awesome light. With a speedlight, I can find about .1 stop differences from the center to the edge of the diffusion material, which is some crazy even light! I can't wait to put these on my studio strobes and see what they really can do! These octaboxes are awesome! They are well made, very light weight, and are very affordable! I give them an A+!

I would appreciate more visual materials, to make your blog more attractive, but your writing style really compensates it. But there is always place for improvement

That's a pretty cool shot. I just finished a series of shoots using the Qbox16 and other assorted Cheetah products. I'm really liking the quality of light I get with them.

The large beauty dish needs a Bowens mount to work with our Speed Pro bracket. Send us an email and we will see what we can do for you.
